The third act is a menswear brand in its early inception. Designs are just beginning inspired by wearable clothes with a focus on the details that bring out individual style.
The Hyson is about family. The Hyson was the name of my grandpa’s fishing boat. My dad followed in my grandpa’s footsteps and fishes with The Hyson II. I didn’t have the same passion for the sea so I have taken The Hyson name for this project as a way to pay homage to my family. The biggest inspiration for this project is my grandma. She used to make me whatever clothes I wanted. When I was 12 she made me a white blazer and white pants (inspired by Duran Duran’s Rio). That touch of individual style that she allowed me to have has kept with me for my entire life and is the focus of The Hyson.
